Sigil: City of Doors

So I moved out to go on this cool traveling program, so bam, I quit playing on Sigil. But now I'm considering going back because I've been talking with Electrohydra about the server again! However, I found one big problem -

The site that I originally bought the game from has gone out of business, and I'm across the country from my computer that still has the copy downloaded.

Now, money isn't a problem and I can easily buy a new copy - the problem is that this would mean my CD Key is different than it used to be.


This would mean that I'd have no access to my previous characters right? I spent something like 80+ hours on the server on one character, let alone the many others.

So I have a few questions:

The easiest one - would I possibly be able to easily find my old CD-Key in the files? I left my computer at home with my... rather tech illiterate older brother, but I could guide him through it and have him email me the numbers if it's easy to find.

The harder one - if I can't get my old CD-Key, is there any way I can access my characters with a new one? Or will I need to make a new account and new characters with none of their old stuff?

I've seen admins copy paste characters from one account to another. I'm pretty sure they could do that for you too. Or at least something in the same vein.

In the Neverwinter Nights 2 install directory, open the file called nwncdkey.ini. It contains the three keys (for the OC, MotB, and SoZ) you'll need.
