Ooops. Tintable tails... I'm not sure if they are supported in the OC.

I haven't used that editor Ravel guides, but in GFF editor it's simple (naturally it also depends on tail model, some tails do not allow tinting/altering colours)

In GFF editor there's 4 "Tintable" slots...

1) Tintable Hair
2) Tintable Head
3) Tintable {Not specified in text} <- is really the tail
4) Tintable {Not specified in text} <- is really the wings

If you want it to be skin coloured, then just copy the numbers in #2 to #3 slots and there you have it... if it doesn't work, then the tail model you're using is possibly non-tintable.

Afraid I can't help you there. I only add special effects to NPCs.

Yes, it's one of the tints... I forget which right now... wonder if it's the third skin tint maybe... backup and test it

How to fix it?
I've had same problem myself... and I don't know a solution either I'm afraid

You can use the InCharacter plug in to do this.

It enables you to import your PC's .bic as an NPC. Once it is imported, you can edit it the way you would any other NPC.

You can then export it again as a .bic.

This should enable you to add vfx to your PC.

This can mess with your inventory somewhat, so I recommend doing this with a fresh character.

Match head tintables #1 to tintables #1

edit: errr match tintables #1 to what head tintables #1 has, said that backwards
