So, if someone has their gender changed magically (which happens to coincide with rebuilding the character), is there any issue with that? Just checking before I go and do something that is frowned upon.

If it is done as part of a rebuild, no issue at all.coyotesage,Nov 6 2015 wrote: So, if someone has their gender changed magically (which happens to coincide with rebuilding the character), is there any issue with that? Just checking before I go and do something that is frowned upon.

That actually already exists. Problem with it just is that male and female ID numbers for hair etc don't always match so it wouldn't work on all appearances.Ceremorph,Nov 7 2015 wrote: *Adds "Girdle of Gender Change" to the project list*

But if Ceremorph gets that hair salon going, then you're all doomed. Your head id will not save you from misuse of the dm gender change tool.

Yeah, you need to build a character specifically for it to be possible really, making sure both the hair and head number exists on both genders.Mr_Otyugh,Nov 7 2015 wrote:That actually already exists. Actually... this is something that could absolutely be done using those new script functions AstralEclipse created, you could force both to automatically switch to a "known good" appearance.

That would mean it's practicly irreversible though, unless you also store original appearance, which makes it more likely something goes awry.Ceremorph,Nov 8 2015 wrote: Actually... this is something that could absolutely be done using those new script functions AstralEclipse created, you could force both to automatically switch to a "known good" appearance.

That information could be stored on local variables.
