Sigil: City of Doors

Quick question: how many of you would be interested in another series of tournaments in the Gymnasium Arena, one for spellcasters, one for rogues and one for fighters? Already asked an EM/DM to help run it, now just wanted to see what the interest would be :P

First of all big thumbs up for you Tomekk. Tournaments are always great material for events and personally I'd like to join too, but I can already see great handicaps for all the multiclasses PCs that want to join in, if you decide to use strict rules like defensive spells and hips banned in the fighter tournament. I would understand if you decided not to allow any summon (and that alone would leave out of the list all the demonologists, epic gate users, golem masters, etc) if we are talking about duel like tournaments, so 1v1. Said that, I would still like a tournament event like that but if your idea is to get many active partecipants you might want to think well which rules and skills/spells players can use in each category. If I can be of any help somehow just poke me in-game or through PM, given I have enough spare time in the next days! xD

Ruin all wizards days by making one tournament for all. Mage Slayers need to slay mages after all.

Vizier wouldn't mind taking on any mage slayers as well. ;)

no one says the tournament has to last just one day with one or few kind of fights

me for one would try to suggest fights between golems / pets/ familiars / summons where the summoners stay invisible or ethereal and just stick to buff / heal the cohorts, or in case of familiars they simply stay out of the picture

then, i'd like a way to make use of the maze next to the pit, somehow...anyone who specialized in traps making here?

Teams of two or three!

Really, somebody needs to create a "Deathmatch" arena for this. Adding to my list of projects, since suddenly ideas are blossoming in my head.

Three person teams would be great, a lot more room for strategy there.
