Santa's not allowed to put coal in stockings here ---environmental concerns, lol. Deadly animals does sound like a great replacement, as it should be very planet-friendly.

They're so friendly they don't so much get placed in a stocking as invite themselves in. Even our goddamn birds are venomous.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Sure there are, have been and even will be plenty of arguing around, but I think we can all agree that it's mainly for the passion of roughly same idea. Just different perspectives. It has been a difficult year for the server in general as well as we've been facing months DDoS'ing, we faced an immense amount of lag when server was moved to a new machine, server lead was changed last year and this year again, staff has got structural changes, not to mention all the philosophical differences individuals have had with each other... but lets put all those aside and just enjoy the fact that SCoD is still around, now for 7th year in a row!

I think all of this shows signs of a great community, willing to endure through inconveniences, in the calibre of both small and large, with faith that things are somehow going to get okay. And I'd like to think that they have after each case. All of that pulled through by people who do this for personal enjoyment outside work, many of whom have actual life beyond SCoD too.

I just wanted to share this little bit of perspective now as the Christmas has come upon us and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! And I guess some mandatory seasonal music is only fitting too.
