Hi hi everyone,
I looked for a "suggestion" box of some type, and i didnt see anything like it anywhere, so thought id just stick this here.
Anyways, just wondering if theres any way we could impliment a script or tool to "convert" essences from 1 kind to another. I was in the etheral plane for about an hour or two today, and i didnt get a single, solitary earth essence of any sort. :(
So, im just wondering if we could make a tool like an essence distiller or something, that would convert an essence from one type, into another.
Not for a 1 for 1 basis mind you, mabye like 5 essences of one type, for 1 of another, or something similar.
Just so that if theres ONE monster on the server that drops what you need, and he doesnt wana drop it, that theres still other possible ways to do it.
Is just a thought. <_<
XOXO

There is a thing IG to convert from one type to another
to convert down 1-2
and a toy to recharge things with charges.
yet to find the last one :(
There are only 2 places I know to get earth essences. One you get radiant one you get faint.
you can also buy these form other players as well. Prices vary, depending on how greedy of a bastard you deal with.

No need for any special adjustments. This is why we have such a great trading community in Sigil. Ask around, be social, make signs, send tells, announce IC that your toon is looking for earth essences. People love to trade, swap, and make deals, and you'll have more than enough in no time.

Until they ask you for enchants, and dont have the gems or essences, only moneys, and expect you the enchanter to have "everything" on you needed for what they have in mind.

P.S.~ The recharging tool is called a magical electrifer, its a little blue and teal sparkly ball in your inventory. It destroys items to put charges on the electrifer, and then you can move the charges from there to another item. But, it doesnt work on everything with charges, it seems only default "wand" item types. Though it does also work on "Lyrics of the Lich" to recharge them (yay!). But ive tried a few times, and it doesnt work on staffs, helmets, armor, or other equipment that ive tried. Only wand-type items. and FYI, Do NOT try to use it on your staff of the magi, it "can" make it so that its unable to be recharged via spells casted on the staff, which is really really bads. (for those unaware the staff has a built in script, you can cast arcane spells directly onto the staff and recharge it, just dont go more than 50 charges or it will explode)

oooh I know all about enchanting. Had people tell me they would only offer X amount. Or been told a gem is worth 2k jink, and many other things.
Common problem is people figure the price on the scroll is the price to pay a PC.
Shiv actually ran away from the market for a night and acquired 2 gollem parts aka 2 radiant earth essences.
He has essences and gems but he is not cheap. Nor are his apprentices. Muahahaha.

I would like to point out, for the benefit of new players, that unlike some other servers, on SCoD you will never find essences by themselves; rather you will find items that can be distilled into essences by use of the Craft Alchemy skill.

Before the new claw enchanting system came out, I never really had a reason to learn which essences can be found where, ect. Would be nice if there was a short table like on the wiki.
