What's the DC to save against Psionic abilities?


Does Spellcasting Prodigy affect Psionics?


Is there any benefit to taking 'Psionically Gifted' beyond RP reasons?

1) Same as for spells. 10 + powerlevel + int mod.
2) Not 100% sure, but Prodigy should affect it.
3) You get additional Powerpoints and it is required for feas like psionic overcharge, which is especially useful for illithids.

Yes spellcasting prodigy works for psions (even for their psionic lash).

Psionically Gifted adds +4 power points, unlocks some abilities as Alersia said, and may unlock future feats or classes as yet in development, so its worth a look.

Note that Gith, Duergar and Illithid all get Psionically Gifted for free at level 1.

I also picked up the Metacreation thing, but before I remade I grapped Psychoportation because I thought Blink was a Blink rather than a concealment ability. Therefore, I was wondering if you're working on a write-up of the Psion abilities or if there's a 2da file or something where I could get hold of the descriptions?

I don't have access to my computer (and thus the scripts) at theoment, but later this coming week I will start to make wiki entries describing the powers. At the very least I'll be starting with the discipline powers as you don't really get a look at them before getting them and some aren't self explanatory.

Just wanted to say that it's clear a lot of work went into this and it's all super impressive thus far. And the implementation is really clean.

What the Peacock said! I'm lovin' it so far ^O^; Kinda' annoyed that I have to go to work tomorrow - I'd love to just have the day off and play my new Psion XD

Offensive powers simply seem not to work, however, except for Psionic Lash, Energy Stun and Psionic Charm Person. No matter what, every other offensive spell gives a message that says I can't use an ability that costs more power points than I have manifester levels, even when the cost is one power point.

I am playing a halfling psion, currently level 5, who has Spellcasting Prodigy and Psionically Gifted. FiveWhats has the same issue with his earth genasi psion.

Psionics cost specified amounts. If you have augment turned on, it can raise the cost above your manifester level, thus you can't use them.

Yup. Augment is off. And even with it on, the cost of a particular ability would be 2 and my manifester level is 5.
