So I'm new to the server, and I'm trying to figure out exactly how Creature Weapons work. I was thinking of making a Ranger build that uses Perfect Two-Weapon fighting, but I don't know how duel-welding works for creature weapons. I made a Winter Wolf, but he only seems to get a bite. Furthermore, it is considered a large weapon, so I realize to get the best bonus, you'd need a medium/light Creature Weapon combo, which also seems impossible to me. Can anyone explain how the process/progression works? And after that, tell me if a duel-wielding creature weapon build is basically impossible?
On a slightly related note, can Creature Weapons be used with Weapon Finesse?
Thanks!

Creature weapons are finessable. I think you need the new version of Finesse they came out with recently though. I regret that I can't talk about TWF though, as Altair is still on legacy weapons and so I've had no experience with them. My initial reaction would be to say no, but I couldn't back that up with evidence.

Just wait a week or two and all creatures will get new "creature weapons", including two additonal claws for winter wolves.
Altair is right, winter wolves are large creatures and thus should be able to dual-wield their claws and bites.
I noticed that I made winter wolf claws medium sized but I guess that shouldnt be a disadvantage.

I think large creatures cant use small sized weapons because their hands are too big to grab them proper. But medium sized weapons should be okay.
Size does only affect monk damage directly. Creature weapon damage is based on size too, but that has been done manually.
As example, a large hezrou at max level deals 3d6 with his claws. A medium werewolf 2d8.

The only thing weapon size affects is the penalties on TWF and whether it can be wielded one-handed without monkey grip (and, of course, use by small-sized creatures). The scripted "special finesse" simply looks to see if it's a creature weapon and fires without regard to size.
