by *Lost and not Found
It was given by Pelhikano, undirectly.
When I first logged into SCoD, I was greeted by a burning dwarf, who then proceeded to "drag" my gnomish character into a cave filled with Zombies where he left her to rot.
Erm, he had to log out as I continued my travels in the cave. Suffice to say, my character died because I got lost in the caves, and when I hit key 'p' on the keyboard I saw how there was no one else to be found on the entire server.
When I went to take a look at forums, I suppose I was still feeling a bit "lost and not to be found." =P

I love HP Lovecraft.
Mind flayers are the single most Lovecraftian-inspired things in D&D.
The process of a humanoid becoming a mind flayer (via tadpole insertion!) is Ceremorphosis.
As for those of you who know my player ID (which I haven't used in months), it's a translated reference to something in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. And the alt I haven't used yet on this server is a reference to Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen.

by *Fell Star
In High School, my best friend used to sign her emails as "Fell Cloud." She was always an inspiration to me, and did a lot of writing in her free time. So when I started playing NWN2, I wanted something to remember her by. I decided to borrow the "fell" part of her pen name.
The second part is actually a reference to Neil Gaiman's book, Stardust. I read it during a summer day and was enchanted by the clever naming scheme of the princes, the illustrations by Charles Vess, and the sincerity of the protagonist, who went out in search of a fallen star.
I liked that the star turned out to be a woman, who, if taken beyond the wall, would become nothing more than a rock; similarly, the characters I create exist only within the confines of my writing. They cannot live beyond it, and because of that parallel, I chose the name "star."

I had mine since nwn1, I like it when it snows, and you get that wind that blows when every sound is muffled, but then I went to Ft Sill Oklahoma and learned to hate cold wind -_-
Also...
Steve Eriksons books = epic.
If I could, I'd make a character from that setting and bring him to Sigil >.>
Since the Azath Houses and their doors to infinite worlds/planes/warrens would make sense :P

I often go by ColoredPencils, because they are my favorite medium to color and draw with!
CheeseWedge... Well, it started off with a phrase I use commonly when something makes me unhappy. "That makes me a sad little wedge of cheese..." I have no idea why, so don't ask. =D

Hrm.
I suppose I should append to mine for any who remember me from DC.
I went by the forum name "Zaer" there, though my NWN login was deathonblackwings.
Zaer came from "ZaerTheDraconian", which was the first login I ever created when I started playing online games. It was some free 2D ORPG I found, and for some reason, the name Zaer popped into my head. I had been reading a lot of dragonlance at the time, so I appended it with "TheDraconian." ZaerTheDraconian. God, it was...Seven years ago I came up with ZaerTheDraconian...I was 11.
Mostly though, when I go by Zaer nowadays, it's shortened to Zaer.
deathonblackwings is simply a quote from a dragonlance book. A character described a black dragon as "Death on black wings".
And now...For Kestal...It's actually a bit easier. Kestal is the name of my main on this server and is how most of you know me.
As for what it means...It's drow for Hope.

by *Product of Void
Just something to be curious about.
I started liking scripting in nwn1 so I changed to Product of void.
Its my own fun way of saying Nothing.
A void main() returns nothing.
When shortened to PoV it is also used as folks saying Point of View. Which I also find amusing.
There is more I could say but its someone else's turn.

Well, my nickname came from Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn in very beginning... there was an Otyugh :P not very interesting story. First I used just "Otyugh" as my tag, but when I started playing NWN 2 multiplayer, I had forgotten my NWN 1 "Otyugh" account password and was too lazy to wait for new password and just made new account as "Mr Otyugh"... the end ;)
Most do shorten it as "Mr O"... yes it sounds perverted... but it is not my fault people are too lazy to type it long :P
