I must ask, what is the Verdant Prince? A class that was cut? A class that isn't implemented yet? What is it? :blink:wrote:Prerequisite: Warlock 16 or PrC 10 (Brachina, Fellblade, Golem Master, Lich, Palemaster, Succubi or Verdant Prince)

Oh dear. Whoever wrote that may have simply forgotten that Operation: Verdant Prince isn't supposed to be public knowledge.
Hopefully this doesn't set back our super sekrit plans to replace the Factols with shrubberies.

Hehehe. Yeah.Neethanial,Jul 8 2016 wrote: Lies!
Okay, yeah, like 95% of them. The other 5% are either super old and hold to old ways, or just don't care :P
Side-note: what's a good source book for fey?

Well Verdant Prince has druid spells and uses it's staff which transforms into a modified treant to fight for it as it stays back and casts offensively.rapsam2003,Jul 8 2016 wrote: So, basically, an evil fey RPrC. Probably has synergy with warlock. Looks really cool.
I imagine if there was a prc it would probably have nature spell progression and from the sound of it some warlock too? and a staff that's like trumpet archon except a summon? lol
Hehe, many are actually on the chaotic axis. Some are on the good axis, some are on the evil axis, very rare examples are on the law axis. CG is a common alignment, so is CN or NG.Neethaniel wrote:Â It's funny how many people think all fey are chaotic good lol.
Most are neutral.
Tons are evil.

The law also mentions, those Verdant Princes that are not evil tend towards their chaotic nature.
I don't find it edgy at all, it's very natural for fey. You could say the blood war is super edgy, or how about vampires?
There aren't any really, like it's discussed in the sourcebook thread. Many try to paint unseelie as evil and seelie as good, this is really dumbed down view and pretty much shunned by most sources.rapsam2003 wrote: Side-note: what's a good source book for fey?
A fey is essentially a supernatural creature. You can say that fey is synonymous for supernatural in a sense, and has as much wide variety as you expect it does.
edit: here is an article treatment about seelie and unseelie courts http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp? ... /20021213a
Also you can look at the other archived articles for more ideas, but nothing is set in stone.

Very tall, dark and handsome, glowing green eyes, antlers on his head, leaves growing in his hair, goatee, long dark robes, large gnarled staff, neutral evil, makes pacts with mortals and contracts like a devil.rapsam2003,Jul 7 2016 wrote: Eldritch Adept has this prereq on the wiki:I must ask, what is the Verdant Prince? Natural Environment: deep inna woods
Hobbies: making contracts, being the boss, dryads, nymphs, controlling animals

Temperament: Kind of charming and seductive but kind of a douche
