If you wanted to make a slaver and build a business of slaving you would have attracted some players wanting to play slaves and they would have made bait characters for you to catch or premade slaves you could sell to the highest bidder. This is what someone looking to play a -slaver- does.
Someone looking for CvC might make a slaver but instead of looking for people that want that game you went looking for people to fight with and gave a lame exuse like 'I made a slaver, just looking for victims'
No one is going to fall for it, and you just end up looking like a troll rather than someone interested in RPing evil.
Other voices have spoken up and said Sigil favors the goodies, and I think the DM events -do- favor the goodies but making a slaver and fighting players instead of attracting them to play with you is sort of proof you are not doing it right.
This is why one of the DMs went out of their way to post that if you made a character just to look for CvC then you are not on the right server. It isnt about you handling the specifics of CvC encounters incorrectly, the problem is that you are handling the notion of CvC incorrectly.
Creating a bait characters and calling it a roleplay? Strange, that it is you, who have mentioned "trolling".
KingLeoric,Aug 3 2016 wrote: This one is about 'rule violation' only, and about the players who are being illegally accused in that and threatened by a ban.
Actually, it's a couple of players making us consider rewriting the rules since they live by the letter and can't accept to live by the spirit of the rules.
I do have to ask though, would an Illithid Planeswalker do that? What I mean is, a Planeswalker (regardless of race) is already different and likely would grow beyond the stereotypical.
Roaming Planes for slaves is not reasonable? :)
Roaming Undersigil =/= roaming the Planes.

The point is, seeking to enslave other players in Undersigil is actually very ham-fisted RP.

Tell that to Mindflayer on lower levels. :D

D&D Rules are not supporting enslaving characters with 80 will save, covered with permament Mind-Affect immunity and True Sight which most players have.

Are we now comparing PvE to PvP directly? are you saying you want to play an npc that people kill without interacting with at all?
I think you need to ask yourself the question, whether violating the rules or not:
"Why does everyone dislike the way I play?"
Bottom line, whether you're breaking the rules or not, you're agitating almost everyone you come into contact with, so much so, that we get constant PM's from bystanders who've simply had enough. So much so that people actively leave RP areas to avoid interacting with you. So much so that we have to put in place PvP bans in an attempt to let people play without feeling like it's more of a chore than anything to have you nearby.
You might be playing to the letter of the rules but you're still needlessly agitating a lot of people. That means you're using your RP to destroy someone else's RP. Stop destroying other people's RP.
cryptc, I do not mind rules being changed. However accusing other player in server rules violation (CONSTANTLY) is something serious. Such a things are punished by laws in real life and should be punished here if you are slandering on someone.
Darkrob I am not destroying others RP. They may: Ignore my PC, RP out or do whatever they want. A player makes the outcome, I am not forcing any other PC to play with me. It is their choice.
Fun of all people involved, you remember what is it ? Because I have the impression sometimes that between the PVP and RP bullies this server is just full of people trying to dominate a virtual space and get some attention like in a kindergarten.
Now Shadowcryer and King Leoric, I've a simple question, do you enjoy PVP for the sake of having a good fight or to trash others and have a laugh ? Because that's two different things.

No, I am not talking about Kill on Sight. I am not designer, who made an interractable NPC. But I see no reason, why no one can roam Under Sigil, except for NPC.

I enjoy PvP and bullying as additional ways to roleplay characters. Guess, you saw bullies IRL. Why Sigil can't have such ones?
