Rp And The Server

So it's been a while since I've been on. A few months at least. My main was Frank with a whole host of alts.
Lately when I log in I notice that there aren't too many people on the server these days. I used to be shocked it ran with so many numbers after all these years, but now those seem to be dwindling.
There have been a couple posts today of other people bowing out. I don't know if I knew you or your toons, but I hope you find plenty of fulfilling entertainment.
As for the people left, I've played on a server with fewer people than even this and it was great. Mainly because everyone was huge on RP.
I see the server going a couple of different directions from here.
If we all put forth the effort to really up our RP game I feel things will go great. Even if we only have a handful of players it'd be as good as a DnD game or a book or story.
The thing is what I've experienced a lot of instead is the sort of punny, cat call melodrama that happens a lot and doesn't really lead to anything, or just build tweaking and grinding, which is fun in its own way but doesn't give back to the server.
To be honest I've been doing a lot of the latter as I haven't figured out how to open up much RP, (other characters are epic and often can't be found, or they're playing their role as merchant which is awesome, but doesn't go beyond the booth) so I get a thought in my head of a new cool build, build it and get to about level 5 before I'm bored and logging off.
It'd be cool for people to throw their account names down here if you're really looking for RP so I know who to look for when I log on and can try to head your way.
If we don't up the RP game I feel like the server is going to diminish till it's just a half-life get together for a couple of cliques of friends and some grinders who are going to discover awesome builds aren't as cool when there's no one to see them.
With all the incredible work done here that'd be a shame.
