Oi!
That's right! I'm back! ... sort of back! Finally arrived here in France where I have a semi-working PC! Which means that I'll be able to check the forums every now and then, stay on MSN and stuff. Who knows? Maybe I'll even manage to log in to the server every once in a while - though, as I said, gaming still remains the very least of my priorities, here. >_>
Also, before anyone asks, yes... it's cold here. Cold as the ninth layer of Hell! (The ninth layer from Dante's Divine Comedy, that is) But... oh how I missed everything here...
Aaanyway, just a heads up to say that I'm still around here and watching... everything... always. :ph43r:
Toodles!

I'm back!

Blah! Screw the stripper, I don't care! As if I needed one. I'm more than happy enough with french and other european women right here! (I'd forgotten how elegant and beautiful they are. >_> Seriously, just... woah.)Spiegel1,Jan 12 2010 wrote:Quick! Hide the stripper before Baardago gets here!

I personally find that rather humorous... considering that right now, it seems that most of the top supermodels in the U.S. that men are drooling over are of South American origin. Could this be a "grass is always greener" thing?Baardago,Jan 12 2010 wrote: I'm more than happy enough with french and other european women right here! I think it's matter of preference ;) pick something, some will like, others will disagree/hate/argue/try to prove you wrong/try to question why.
Oh and welcome back... sort of :P

Hah! You sort of got close there.Dedic8ed,Jan 12 2010 wrote:I personally find that rather humorous... considering that right now, it seems that most of the top supermodels in the U.S. that men are drooling over are of South American origin. Could this be a "grass is always greener" thing?
It's not an issue of "The grass is always greener" or whatever, though, in a sense that people from other places are better - they're just different. It's more because we don't get women who look very european back in Brazil (for example), obviously enough. Many of us like the "different and exotic" - it applies to both men and women, especially in south america.
Yeah, our women are hot and all, "curves for the win", voluptuous, sun-tanned, etc etc (skinny models my ass! You guys just haven't seen supermodel competitions in Brazil). But, they're also rather ill-manered and arrogant, dress either semi-revealing, tight outfits or extremely "pampered girl" like ones. And the exact same applies to men (only they dress either like thugs from the slums or surfers, and the majority of the latter is very ignorant). Thing is, I see that every day of my life - it loses it's "charm" after a while.
Now, I've nothing wrong with that, hell... I'd bang my head against the wall if I did (I love my country and the women in it), but I just like the more elegant, pale-skinned european women better - call it media, "grass is always greener" or whatever, I just like 'em. 'sides, we rarely ever get redheads (red hair = soooo drool-worthy) back in Brazil, for example.
I say that, in this case, it's all a matter of... different stuff being "exotic" - I know that people in most other places regard us South Americans in the same way, anyhow, especially in europe.
Of course, don't take this as a "it's an undeniable rule that applies to everyone" thing... it's just the thing that happens more commonly.

PS: Sweet Hell... I took ages just to write this one post. Damn this keyboard.
PSS: Don't even dare call me sexist, whoever thinks of that, this thing above works both ways. >_>
