Question About Chats.

I know this is completely random, but I was wanting to know if there is a video chat group for the players of Sigil. If not, would anyone be interested if I created one on either skype or a video chat website? It would be a private room, of course.

Just wanted to get opinions~...

I suspect the Discord counts, and there is also the server IRC. Both of which can be found just under the header on the forums.

I know of them both. I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in an actual video chat room.

Proooobably not? I know I didn't particularly mind when my Skype account got compromised. I suspect that most people wouldn't really feel a need for such an intimate level of communication. Especially considering that this is not a Tabletop Setting and having a video chat doesn't really add much that Discord doesn't already offer.

You're probably right. It was just a thought. I know of another game I RP sometimes and they have a video chat, but few use it. Thank you for your input.

^_^ I'm just one person, though. I'm sure you might find a few who would be interested, but I'm not sure if it's something for the server as a whole.

I should also take the time to clarify that although I have a Tester badge below my name I am not a part of the server staff and the only say I have regarding the direction of the server is to make suggestions.

Considering how rarely the Discord voice chat gets used, I'd suspect a video chat wouldn't be terribly crowded. Sigil's players seem to tend to prefer text. But feel free to try if you want!
