I know you can join them via skull thingie in bright red area. Though once in one can you get keys and such to explore or are some areas still being worked on?

Two fractions that interest me.

Currently no faction has real private quarters, so no keys either, once they get private areas, there'll be keys given too (by Mimir). But our main concern goes to make public areas first for the factions instead.

It seems to me that people aren't really sure what the Fated actually do inside the Sigil, thus having some generic "Tax Collectors" couldn't harm.

I'm not going to be 100% by the lore here, but you could say that people in Sigil do not really enjoy paying their taxes. The factions are trying to pay as little as possible while the Fated naturally take whatever they can, which usually amaunts to a quite great deal of tax revenues.

And regarding tax collecting, the general Fated attitude of "I got and you don't" doesn't really make things any better for the common tax payer.

If Darkwood is the the current Factol, all fated should read the following: http://www.mimir.net/psmush/takers.shtml And if he is not, the link should be helpful nonetheless.

And:
But they're not all evil; far from it. You'd not call the plane of Bytopia evil now, would you, and locals there have a very similar attitude -- don't rely on charity, because it's fickle. And the Fated have certainly "earned" their spot in Sigil.

We DM's are trying everything under the sun to promote interest in PC faction members being involved in their factions, id like to hear personally what players would like to see towards the "EXISTING" 15 factions.

There are points to this posting just to note:

1. No suggestions will ever be taken in that advertises "new factions" or "player run sects" getting their own forum boards or player involvement. This is strictly about players putting forwards their involvement in Faction interests and promoting the ones already in the canon.

2. The posts must be reasonable and logical, no, we will not make players Factols, nor will you likley ever be a Factor. We will not eliminate factions either, as that would be even more damaging and boring in the long-term.

3. Mechanics oriented benefits would have to be considered thurroughly based on:
- What is possible within the horribad design of NWN2
- What is balanced and fair without favouratism
- Something that is commonly voted for rather than just one guys opinion, quantity votes do contribute towards a public vote for change.

(Keep in mind that such votes for change do not guarentee that anything will change, it simply means players will get to have their say and it will certainly contribute towards what people actually want currently.)

Power to the bloods, enjoy your posts, keep them sensible but please, advise away.

Anarchist Hideout. Not the one in the Inn... One in the Hive. Roomier and more user friendly than the one we have now.

I don't think we need any special items, powers, gear or bonuses. Just a good place to meet, chat, rp and be comfortable.

i Would Say.. For The Hard heads.. a Widget to summon another Guard to assist you with your work.. when not with another player.. I often see players ignoring the guards walking about.. and well Even going as far as the attack one in the plane open without respect for the npc ones walking past
