Restoring Old Characters

Have you reinstalled NWN2 with new CD keys since then?

Is there something I need to do to fix this? I can see all my old characters in the list, can even play the newer ones but if I select one of the old ones it tells me I'm booted. I really only bought the game again because I saw Sigil was still up and running, I'd hate to lose all Cat's shiny collectibles but if I have to re-start her I guess I can.

Otyugh or cryptc are going to have to make this fix, I'm not exactly sure where the Key ID information is stored, which will have to be reset to make these characters legal.
