Here's a crazy thought. How about turning the difficulty rate down and keep the exp rate where it is? If characters that are not build to break the system are more viable, then there's less encouragement to powerbuild.

This is technically speaking more efficient way to do it indeed.

If you are grouping with casuls... meh, you are not a powerbuilder if you need a group to help you with this.
This is hilariously incorrect.

God forbid you have friends you want to help, right? :P

^ Not everyone who has a 'power' build in NWN2 is like that chap.

Capable build =/= Power build

Seriously even some trashy builds are capable on Sigil if you have good equipment. Half of the races just naturally gets strong enough on the epics to be able solo Carceri. No you are not going to own Painbringer on GC probably, but you will be pretty good all in all.

((Another half are vampires/dragons, they may use any build ))

Powerbuilding is overrated, I think, especially on a server where you can max in 2 days if you really want.

Do it a few times, grind the same stuff that has the exact same default AI response.... and then you are a at a loss for what to do next. You can only show off/speed through it so many times before it gets very very old. Some players like to PB in order to be confrontational, but generally it's not that many.

Been there, done that. Learned to try to be a better RP and do more with less to make the content more varied. For me, anyways, it prolongs my interest in the PW.

So I don't think it's as big a deal as most make it to be.

(However, it's still good to try to balance classes to avoid the Vampire-Twilight-world that was in existence ~ a year ago. )

And yes, I'm feeling evil tonight, why do you ask?
Rather than tortuing balance, concentrate on making dragon human form appearance changer please. :P

This would at least be truly beneficial. ;)

There is no point to waste time, power and resources on trying to seek mythical things (like "balance" in DnD).

Tell this one more time and I am scripting it right away.

Can you remove all the non-casters while you're at it? They are clearly holding the spellcasters back :P
