Hit the letter 'P' on your keyboard whenever you enter a new area. It does provide you with 'metagame' information of who can be found on the map, which you can use to send tells to find out a bit of relevant information.

A simple obvious thing that is not done enough - in my opinion.

However, on a related matter, if you ever, ever, steal my kill - I'll say the following things to you:
wrote::< How's the botting going for you? It's not really nice of you to steal kills. You, potty-headed, rude person. :<
Or something similar.

That's the real definition of ninja looting you gave, going in and stealing another person or party's loot, yeah.

Partying with a group of adults, where loot is shared (or RPed otherwise) is an ideal, of course. Sometimes it's simply not possible, you join a party late, the party grows to a mob with everyone just running around grabbing. etc. That's okay . . . . . I can always leave the party in such an event, or just put up with it. It's not like something that gets my panties in a bunch ^_^ , just irritating.

DR's question was asked and answered - is monopolizing all drops usual in ScoD, and the answer was, read the (suggested) rules of behavior . . . which states that it's not, or shouldn't be.
