Levers just seemed the easiest way to go, at least in order to let the players know "you have changed something, now go find what it is". I can guarantee that the next puzzle dungeon I build will NOT be tied to levers. I'll also be trying to look for ways to make things a bit more random, so that the way that worked today may not necessarily work tomorrow... And I'm already getting some evil ideas about it.

I'm surprised nobody's screamed about the three hallways. Giving a "pick your poison" option felt to me like the most evil thing I did...

This has actually been discussed on the DM boards. This could definitely play into interesting options, such as the choice of several quests for an area... and the quest taken determining what treasure might be found, for instance, or enemies that might be faced.

The dark bleak areas are my least favorite in the whole nwn2 system.I can understand it's use in the wastes..But it falls into content to be suffered through. Not enjoyed. For me anyway.

Making it hard for the players to see whats going on diminish's the value of an area.*sighs*

As always, just my opinion..sounds like an area I can completely skip so no worries.

Duo'ed this place with Ovarf's monk. I had no idea about the Ascendent's defenses when I picked my spells. Didn't do so well. We died.

Decided to change a few things and just absolutely pwnt this thing by myself. And that sucks because number one, it's absolutely wretched to have melee just pop up a string of zeroes when attacking and beating on the thing. And number two, I don't like the yin-yang effect regarding healing spells and undead--especially bosses. I'd much rather see them with a weakness to divine and/or fire damage instead.
