From the main thread. Arwyl Swanson himself claims "time of war". So, if the Harmonium / Mercykillers / Factions compare this incursion to a time of war, then this is a state of emergency? Or was he simply being too enthusiastic in his wording of what is now being called awrote:"Thirdly, the Doomguard should pay a security tax for compromising Sigil's defenses in time of war. I am sure I do not have to remind you all of the chaos which the . . . fey situation. . . has already visited on the city."
I'm sorry, this is just genuinely perplexing.wrote:The fey matter is a background point of interest.
Rather, I brought this up in the IC thread in Ea'ral's little outburst, the fact that, whilst the fight is rather undisputed, it was on non Faction ground, so Faction laws cannot be applied to it? Or rather, should not be applied to said situation. The Doomguard, rather, seem to be getting the brunt of a punishment, they have no reason to deserve? Unless the Harmonium now own Undersigil. In which case they're doing a pretty bad job of protecting it given there's loads of bandits there still.wrote:Â Why are people acting like there is no evidence that the doomguard caused violence in unsigil
I don't want to sound confrontational or anything, but some decisions don't seem to add up.
If this is a power play, in a political manner, to curb the Doomguard's power ICly, that's perfectly fine, just a bit of backroom skullduggery, but to the outside eye, it seems like an abuse of power on the Harmoniums part.
EDIT: Sorry if I'm a little late with these observations since this seems to have moved on to a point where the discussion is about the bazaars ownership. I just thought I'd bring it up incase this sort of thing is being overlooked. It's not like I have a member of any of the Factions who are actually concerned with this.
