There are worse things than death, mind. Eternal torment, anyone? I suggest a refresh on Planescape lore and the power of Her Serenity. You don't *** with the Lady. :P

This works well on individual targets, however if there would be army large enough, of powerful enough things... like every plane is basically a near-infinite space with near-infinite amount of creatures.

Regarding power of Lady, I am perfectly aware, that she is mechanically rather "natural phenomenon", than character and has nay stats. But this is mechanics nay to give people opportunity to play attempting to kill her mechanically limiting interactions with her to her being punishing force for offenders to her principles. However the legends about her suggest, she is actually with ridiculously great, but still limited power and everything with limited power is defeatable one or another way.

However, most of the time, Lady does nay give a ship (seafaring vessel) about what is going on *cough-cough* faction war.

Was aoskar ever in the cage? It seems vague in the lore.

People actually insult the Lady now? That should be grounds for whomever has DM/EM permissions to flee to their avatar and spark an event where that person gets mazed for awhile. It's rule #1 of Planescape, don't *** with the Lady of Pain. It's also number 2. You don't *** with the Lady of Pain.

Hell, I'd consider that grounds for on the spot flaying. It's seriously immersion breaking when people flagrantly ignore one of the biggest and most unique aspects of the setting.

The biggest and most unique aspect of the setting that requires you to completely ignore and pretend doesn't exist.

Agreed, it's not sigil without some dumbass exploding into meat chunks after insulting the lady every now and then.

I'm pretty sure the lore is that as his Prime he was from was about to explode and everyone die, he opened portals and flung all his faithful + himself into Sigil. The Lady of Pain basically allowed him to live with his people in Sigil, because he wasn't actively trying to recruit or rule Sigil, they were only passively coming to him while he ruled his own followers that stayed to their own areas.

So yeah, he literally lived in Sigil for years. Then his passive recruitment caught the eye of a Dabus, who... well, we all know where it went from there.

Long story short in any conflict involving the Lady of Pain . . .

"Lady of Pain flayed the flying **** out of the enemy and kept walking along her way, never missing a step."

If she could have ever been overthrown, she would have been. But she has not.

That's a nice Sigil you've got there, it would be a shame if something were to happen to it...

I've actually toyed with the possibility of seeing a few of said people getting flayed. I mean, even the Athar recognize her as what she may or may not be. She never claimed to be a god, or anything else for that matter. She just... is. And so is her temper.
Worship her? Dead.
Claim to be shagging her? Dead twice. (Because double tap)
Keep running your mouth about her never caring? She doesn't. pshh.
Keep running research she already mazed people for pursuing? Mazed.
Claim to be one of her nobles long enough? (As in, a royal or lord of Sigil) Mazed.
The list goes on, and would totally be up to DM approval, but I think it would spark a bit more respect in an entity that any god who knows about her rightfully fears.
