Oh and Cadence...Permadeath? Not often hear I it coming from someone who has tendency of lag-kills on events.
To Reptiller: Lighten up. I was being tongue in cheek. I am indeed not lobbying for permadeath or restrictions on multiclassing. It was my failed attempt to inject some irony and humor into a forum that all too often features overly-serious posts and blatant mudslinging. It seems that your response was no exception to that. Thank you.

And I agree wholeheartedly with Azulfae, restrictions like that on a server would quickly kill it. That's why when I seriously considered permadeath, I quickly reconsidered. Though it would bring out some more realistic PC interactions (not many would willingly go to the Abyss) - but then again who wants to keep remaking characters each time you die? It's clearly frustrating.

..Anyway, I'll work on my irony since my post was met with multiple serious responses (and in one case, insults). I think I'll take tips from Pasha, she always brightens the forum mood :)

Wait, you mean I could have simply paid you instead of dressing up in the "slutty tiefling" costume? Damnit!!!

DM group is also a part of the community, so they have same right as anyone else to say their personal opinions, and conversely aren't given any more weight than any one elses suggestions in a setting like this (it's later when they bribe me on the dm forum that their votes start counting extra *nods*)
That's a valid point. And If it -indeed- was irony, I apologize sincerely before Cadence. Too many decided it should be taken seriously though, so I agree on Cadence's remark about actually -learning- irony, yes...

Your apology is appreciated, though I don't think it should be conditional on whether I was being ironic.

In other words, REGARDLESS of my viewpoint, a certain level of civility, maturity, and lack of disparagement is not too much to expect when posting on these forums. Surely you can disagree without being disagreeable?

There is often an unnecessary degree of tension when opposing views are discussed on these forums--tension that I just don't sense on the DM forums (and believe me, the DMs disagree a LOT).

Let's not take this game too seriously.

Back to topic!

Cadence your a complete mindbosh sometimes. Your considerations are on a par with.

"My mother was mowing the lawn and I looked down on the floor and saw a small pick, a sickle and a lump hammer. First I considered thwacking the pick into her back and watching her writhe around on the floor in agony then I considered that perhaps she would scream too much so instead I looked at the sickle and thought that maybe I could use that to slice her throat open but then I reconsidered due to the huge amount of blood that might get onto my suit! Then I looked at the lump hammer and thought, ooh brains, if I do the right kind of brainstem trauma the body might twitch and move for a good ten minutes afterwards due to reflex actions.

Then I completely reconsidered because what was I thinking! I can't murder my mother, not only is it illegal but who would wash and iron my cloths and make me dinner!"

Well that was the point of my suggestion being ironic. And you say that I'm a complete mindbosh only sometimes? I hope not

I have alternatives to get Cryptic to listen, if cryptic refuses I just send Hashkar into Cryptics room and lock the door untill I hear screams for mercy.

Satisfied Evilgasm.

I presume that would be Hashkar screaming then. :D

Ok, are people are finished with abusing each other and contributing ideas? We can lock this thread if so...
