No, Im talking about the Baatzeu. They should now have option to get the tails and Im able ask for one and allow it to show up. It disappears upon relog though. With the changes in races, theres so many options for devils and demons, they should have option to have a tail or not.

Neither Erinyes nor Brachina have tails in their creature descriptions in PnP. And a "snaky" tail doesn't really fit with feathery wings...

I think the benefits of the new system outweigh the cons substantially. The problem before was that interesting and IC powerful race options were broken-weak at epic levels. I'm also willing to allow a few pigeonhole powerful builds if they are IC appropriate.

***Future PRCs should do things like limit the caster types and especially Alignment to fit IC. This still allows wonky builds for those who want them, but at the cost of the typical 'ic' benefits of the race in question. This also limits some powerbuilds (like not allowing a marquis cambion/slayer of Domiel for instance).

I also just want to suggest that if you want to offer criticism that's fine, but make it constructive. The default here seems to be new system or old (which was definitely worse). If you have an idea for a 3rd option, put it forward.

Its the only tail we have, the pc could be a baazteu dizien without being either of those races we offer, considering this servers policy that long as it looks plausible, you can claim to be something else.

we got npcs that walk around just like it.

tieflings and half fiends can choose to get a tail regardless of what blood line had spawned them.

I now have to ask, in the even I ever get around to rewrite a back story to send for one pcs Iv had here for a while, a half fiend that has feathered wings growing in instead, if that be a flat no just for this very reason now? I mean really, if we are going for options, this is it.

Then again we very well may just get tieflings with the capability to gain the half celestial template in the future that does the same thing.

tiefling blood can happen in any time in the family blood, theres bound to be an accident with an outsider that over came the odds.

I will assume there will be a script check to prevent tieflings from getting the half celestia/half-fiend prcs.

i would guess it is possible to remove a tail once a player take erinye or brachina class.

I don't see any harm to adding a tail, so I will put that in as an option for the next update.

Shouldn't the races be made to reflect the specific race, rather than cater to the "well I could mimic race X if I had Y option"? because that becomes a can of worms really quickly. I just think the ideology of being allowed to mimic alternative race, within realms of plausibility, is less a justification to add models to existing races, and more an allowance for people to pick a race that has the things they like, to mimic other lore supported entity. Difference being: Mimicing by utilizing existing models vs adding models for mimicing things not in.

I mean, if we are going to have distinct races, shouldn't they abide by their racial standards?

I wouldnt like to see Brachinas with "Oh! I didnt know they have no tails."

Freedom is nice, but as example we dont have the outsider alignment lock just for fun. I talked already to people who were planning to take both classes - brachina and erinye.

I have no doubt that even among the outsiders you have examples of the race showing some distinct flavor that is different from the rest, such as having a tail, or a third arm, or horns when normally they don't have horns, etc. I don't believe little things, especially things that have no numerical impacts, are that important from a lore perspective. As a PC, you ought to be a little different than the rest of your kind anyway. That's why not every human is an adventurer, or even a hero class - there is obviously something about you that defies the norm.

Granted that I don't care (because I think diversity is the best thing ever), but I'm not advocating for severely radical changes here. I'm not talking about a Succubus with three heads and tentacles for arms and wings made of ice. But a tail? Feathered wings instead of Batwings? Horns? These things aren't that setting defying.
