Questions About Psionics!

So, I noticed on this website that Psions are supposed to get bonus feats like wizards do.
wrote:Bonus Feats

A psion gains a bonus feat at 1st level, 5th level, 10th level, 15th level, and 20th level. This feat must be a psionic feat, a metapsionic feat, or a psionic item creation feat.

These bonus feats are in addition to the feats that a character of any class gains every three levels. A psion is not limited to psionic feats, metapsionic feats, and psionic item creation feats when choosing these other feats.
Was wondering why you decided not to include these, 'cause I feel very feat-starved as a psion right now.

Oh! Two more questions!

Do Psions get epic bonus feats like other base classes? What's their progression, 23, 26, 29? (most classes) 24, 28? (Rogues, Barbs, Druids) 25, 30? (like Monks)

Do Psions follow the epic DC progression of other casters? i.e. +1 at 23, 26, 29

sooo.

Any potential for this class to work with mystic theurge in the future?

Exactly what does spellcasting prodigy for the class do? Does it count as the +2 int score increase?

Whats potential max points you can get?

There was only 2 expanded point pool feats? Any epic ones for like a flat out +50 or 75 or something? Was there supposed be any epic powers?

1) Other psion-involved classes are planned, so who knows? :3 I suspect it'll be a while before we see psionic mystic theurges though, they'll probably be working on psionic warrior before that.

2) Spellcasting Prodigy increases the DCs of all psion powers (including Psionic Lash) by 1

3) You maximum power points as an Illithid are something like (15 int mod * 20 psion & mentalist levels + 4 from Psionically Gifted + base psionic power progression) * 1.2 with both the pool expansion feats. That's 365 in bonus points alone, though I'm not sure how many base points you get. If it follows the PnP description, we're looking at another 343 * 1.2 by level 20 = 411. So combined, we're talking 647 pre-pool expansion and 776 after, meaning those two feats are worth 129 extra points at most.

edit! Sorry, I was under the impression that Illithids still got a +8 bonus to int. Apparently it's just +2 now even with their racial PrC. It's about 60 points less than stated above^

4) There should be an epic singularity power according to the 2das, though I've not reached the epic levels yet!

1) Xndar mentioned that he first wants to erase the psion bugs before he takes on other classes. Another builder also worked on another psionic base class but is currently busy with life.

Mystic Thuerge (Psion) would most likely be a new class rather then using the existing.

4) There are two epic powers available. Check the wiki for details.

New question.

Is it intentional that out of all the abilities thats available for first tier, you can only choose 2? you only get lv 2 to chance to pick, then have go psion 3 which is tier 2.

Yes that is intentional, and yes Whitefly you understand it correctly.

As for practiced spellcaster, it is something I may consider.

On level 1 Psion you do get two abilities, those of your chosen discipline. As with the 9th level ability, you can choose to just ignore it instead of spending a power choice to get it, I believe. As such, you basically make your very first pick from a more regimented selection.

The wiki dont mention which are the epics:

Also, if the class dont intend to scale past 20 for points. then perhaps something like 15 pct bonus for the feats would be better. 10 seems low for a feat but Iv not got back to having 36 int again to look.

Arcane or divine classes also dont get more spells past 20. Psion is similiar to these classes, spells/days aka power points dont scale beyond 20, but other things do:

- More levels means you can augment or metamagic higher powers.
- DC should increase for casterlevel 23,26 and 29 (I dont remember if i tested it, so not 100% sure).

Bottom of the page epic feats are mentioned:

Explain how more levels lets you augment more powers if its based on a pool that does not further increase?
