Where Did You Come Up With Your Forum Id?

Mine is actual birthed by two situations.

When Wizards War is actually a line from an old poem from the life of Elminster that speaks of men quakeing and the land moaning "When Wizards go to War", and it also represents that there is nothing worse then a war between wizards.

It also has roots in modern day culture. Technolgy is pretty much reigning suprerem and those who are masters of the "mystical" or "advanced" if you will could be likened to nothing less then modern day wizards (internet wizards as they say).

Wars today are fought with more advanced technology then with actual guns and bullets, and when two people get into conflict useing technicoly its often just as serious and dangerous, often devastating and tragic as any war between fantasy or medieval wizards, perhaps even more so.

WWW as some also call me is as everyone knows short for World Wide Web, where most of the fuel for technology and violance comes from, this makes the World Wide Web very much like "The Weave" which is an established source of magic across many fantasy settings.

And so it goes that when you take knights in full plate with swords and bows
And you take a soldier with guns and bullets and you think of all the devisation either of the two entirely different people yet identicle in purpose.

It simple pales against

well my nickname is obviously bastardised version of Eärendil, the half-elf, son of Idril and Tuor from the Lord of the Rings. Used it first for my BG1 char I created, made elf and could not come up with nice name I would like, and kinda remembered this, but not exact spelling ..so went with Eandril...and it kinda sticked with me from that time:)

Daril Blake is just my main Sigil Character.

Maldor The Arcane was a wizard name i made up.

Jade Arcane (only used on homeguard website) is My main character on TFR and captain of the guard which is why i used that.

My Normal Forum name however is Nathan90 which is simple,My name is Nathan and i was born in 1990. Nothing complicated.

Any way back on topic....

Once upon a time there was a group that played Dungeons and Dragons.... I know... hard to believe. This group met every Sunday and played from around 4pm until someone passed out. This group use to partake very heavily in a intoxicating herb while playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Now most of the members of this group when they DMed a game would only allow the players to play good characters. So of course..... Very high Paladins do rather silly things. At one game session. The Paladin charged into battle and the players war cry (Yes at these games you did not dress up but you were expected to RP your character) was " Valor for the dark green leaf!!!!" as he puffed and rolled his dice.. This picked up with the group and then started to use it all the time.

Finaly, One of the members of this group allowed the others to play in an evil game where everyone was to play something evil.... I decided to play the Necromancer. I agonized for days untill one of the other players stated out war cry again.... It clicked in my head..... Valenfor DarkLeaf. I took a lot of flack for it and of course... And, in true Valenfor style the very first time one of the evil characters yelled out war cry he said " Yes.... Do it for me....." and he grinned a wicked smile.

After playing MOB single player, I was out of RPG's to play and bored, so I thought i'd press the tab that said multiplayer and see what that was all about. I didn't know you were supposed to make a fancy name so I used my email address I had since I got my first computer. LISA being my real name and 100595 being my oldest son's birthday. I picked a server that looked interesting and had alot of players on it, and rolled my first character while pressing Recommend for the Win! Now most of you know me by Elvina which was the very first character I rolled on that server and still play, but I answer to both. B)
