Nothing to stop them attacking target(s) in a different area...

To answer the questions.

The Athar are the only faction not to speak with pc's present.

Those Factol's without pc's present may choose to keep a silence after all factions do not have to speak.

Mauric's speech was removed because he did not actually get to take the stand. There will be a chance for the Doomguard as the two major participants in the event to have a closing statement. So he will get his chance. This has been communicated to the player.

Revolutionary League Players who want to take advantage of all the Factol's being in one place, feel free but this may end badly for your characters.

If the Athar pc's present don't wish to make a statement I will start moving things on towards closing statements tomorrow.

Edit:As I am informed the Godsman still have their turn left too.

Give me a bit to come up with something that Morthos would say...

Phase one is done. Factioneers if you want to influence your Factol's decision speak to either Mimi LD Sunshine or myself to arrange a meeting with them. If you want to influence each other and make deals and arrangements feel free to do so in game.

In two weeks real time that is 9th of July we will be back at the Hall of Speakers and the Factol's will vote based upon what you guys tell them.

Since we've received some queries on what Phase 2 of this plot entails, some clarification -

- For this session of the hall of speakers, we are keeping things focused on the Doomguard plot, and the status of the Bazaar. There can and will be future sessions of the Hall of Speakers in which other issues can be brought up, and it is fair game to bargain with that in mind.

- No faction has to vote for the final demands of the Harmonium or the Doomguard, so please don't feel restricted by them. The door is open for political bargaining here.

The vote will be decided by whichever side takes the most votes, however if neither side can amass six votes or seven or more factions abstain the vote will be thrown out and the Hall of Speakers will be called again.

Tomorrow is the 9th, which means the time for plotting is drawing to a close!

As those of you who were here for the last Hall of Speakers plot-line might remember, we were trying out a different format this time. Thank you all for bearing with us as we worked out the kinks. We got a bit more interest in factional politics than anticipated (which is awesome!).

I will be handling the last stage of the Hall of Speaker debates. The rest of the DM staff will be forwarding me their notes on your interactions with them, but please do message me as well if your character has been busy in the past two weeks. I want to make sure I have everyone's actions accounted for! :)

Last note - because of the switch, it is possible that the Hall of Speakers thread will not be re-opened until the 10th. Please bear with me here.

What I do find rather odd is how everyone is citing this whole 'state of war with the Fey' thing... when there isn't a single ounce of information about it on forums that I've come across nor did I see an event about that in months. o_0

I thought Ariella called it quits when she stepped down as DM.

I mean, would our characters forget about it, just because a DM stepped down?
