Player-owned Housing

Question: in case of a wizard's demiplane, could the access portal be located inside the wizard's private property instead than randomly around the Cage?

Serena, that's where things get a little hairy, because technically you'd be talking about having two residences in that case.

I think if you want to say that you have your own demiplane and use an actual keyed portal in the house, the entire complex would need to 1) be on the same interior map, and 2) cost the planar location price. No "but it's in the hive ward so cheapest rates" tricks.

It was merely a RP choice that of the demiplane inside the house, not exactly a need for an additional area or a way to cheat on the price

Wanted to ask, whether it is potentially negotiable to get a home in self-built outdoor area, given that this area would be, what is called accessible for public as some RP area (and maybe under some circumstances as housing area aswell), not completely enclosed private property?

To put it bluntly, No.

The reason for this is that tiny exteriors are larger in server space that massive interiors. Just as an example, one of our event areas, ps_event_beach, is quite small, but still manages to have a 10MB TRX file, whereas a huge interior like the Dao Mines is only 543kb, and all of Clangor is only 1.07MB.

But if I for example volunteer to build an expansion for existing "plane" and ask for reserving some of the built areas to be free for player housing for potentially evryone, who finds this place to their liking?

And one more question> If my house is located outside Sigil (is in undersigil villaga, astral or extraplanar portalled home) itself for example, do I still need to pay taxes for it to "Takers"? Logical assumption would be that I owe nothing to Sigil government if my home is not in Sigil.

No, if you live outside Sigil, no. The Factions have branches around the Multiverse (e.g. The Fated have a very strong presence in Ysgard), but they don't rule over the areas they do not control. Sure, they could tax you because you walk on the Sigillian ground (it sounds silly, but it works like this), so maybe you owe less to them than someone else (granted you meet a fair Fated :P)... but as general answer: No, you don't owe them nothing for the house you live in. I am not sure about the Undersigil, though: it is Sigil and it is not. The Harmonium chose to not patrol there, but I am not sure what a Fated could think about it. Any excuse to get money is good as any, right? :P

Well, atually any "suspicious" taxation will certainly meet Yasuyo's sword as only response. Especially out of Sigil grounds (however inside Cage as well, if the case would seem unlawful).
