modified link - should work.
What is a "ruin" weapon? Are there keen weap[ons? Are they the same?
Is divine Shield worth it? Or more of a PvP thing?
I guess spot is more of a PvP skill than PvE...
I hear ya about RP - just figuring out the "optimal" mechanics first, then I can decide how much I want to dial it back.

Ruin weapon is a weapon which gives feat that allows you to make criticals or half-sneak attack damage against certain creature types... such as Death Ruin allows you to create critical hits and half-sneak attack against undead.
There's some keen weapons, scrolls/wands can easily be made by crafters/wizards.
Divine Shield can be useful against non player characters also, it rather depends how you use it and how powerful your character is to begin with if they require the additional boost as always.
I'd categorize spot more as roleplaying skill than combat skill to begin with. While it helps to see hiding foes and/or traps, it's very rare you truly need it in the end.

Spot is critical for PvP vs. HIPS (ab) users...guess that doesn't happen too much :-)
Thanks again for tips

Evasion is not really needed, and you could get turn undead from Paladin 4.
Levels 1-4 paladin, then rest FS. Doesn't take wonders to explain that character from IC perspective.
Though you need get a feat on a TU-class to get both Divine Shield or Might.

I took Milil as my God at 1st level, but when I leveled in Favored Soul it wouldn't give me Milil as an option...

That's because Milil is a Neutral Good Deity, while your character remains Lawful Good. When you gain your first Favored Soul level, you can only choose from powers who share your alignment.
Plus, on the planar sense of things, Milil is a nobody, a backwater power without a single piece of "green" to his name.

Milil was one of the minor FR gods that have little interest outside that prime and we decided to remove to make room for other pantheons. Many other lesser and demigods have gotten same treatment.
I have no idea how you managed to pick it at first level though, unless you have some override.

Can anyone think of a Gold suitable for a Human Paladin that uses Warhammer as a favored weapon? Not sure I want to take that route, but curious if it exists.
