1) This is a known problem with the wings that I understand the staff is presently working very hard on.
2) Knockdowns are a pain in the butt. High-Dex builds have it easier, but the only real way to avoid them is knockdown immunity from either a Foundation of Stone spell or some item with an immunity (I think there's one or two). Displacement and other spells like Mirror Image which make you harder to hit regardless of your Touch AC help too.
Having a Freedom of Movement effect will also help negate the movement slow from Foundation of Stone. \ o /
3) Many of Toril's gods were removed from the Deity Selection List to be replaced with Planar deities who are of more importance. I'm not sure if Sune is one of them, but it seems likely.
No offense to you if you are a fan of Forgotten Realms, but from the perspective of a Planar... Sune is just a tiny power for a single prime world with no relevance to the rest of the multiverse. We don't force players to RP the deity selection on their character sheets, however, so you are still more than welcome to play a character who is a follower of her regardless of deity selection choice.

When trying to quote something, I recommend using Preview Post to move the "Post to Edit" text into the main body so that it can be freely edited from there. ^^;;rapsam2003,Jun 20 2016 wrote: See my edits, dude. I wasn't done yet. The way this forum does quotes is awkward as hell though...

Well, Sune is one of the few Chaotic Good deities who actually permits paladins to serve her.Perfection,Jun 20 2016 wrote: So you can Select Sune as Lawful Good paladin but not as a cleric. I find that wierd but then again I never played these classes before.
Good call. Thanks!Sinlinara,Jun 20 2016 wrote:When trying to quote something, I recommend using Preview Post to move the "Post to Edit" text into the main body so that it can be freely edited from there. ^^;;rapsam2003,Jun 20 2016 wrote: See my edits, dude. No, Sune is definitely part of the deity list. I just made a cleric of Sune character last week. (Haven't played her yet.)Sinlinara,Jun 20 2016 wrote:3) Many of Toril's gods were removed from the Deity Selection List to be replaced with Planar deities who are of more importance. I'm not sure if Sune is one of them, but it seems likely.Â

This roleplay madness generated so much conflicts of interest that you will never imagine. :lol:rapsam2003,Jun 20 2016 wrote:Sune is one of the few Chaotic Good deities who actually permits paladins to serve her.
Lawful Good clerics and paladins serving that particular deity are more inclined than others, and I've seen this more than few times, to play their role to do benefits for their personal interests (whether romance was involved or not) rather than for the whole, even if it was their church.

And Paladins of Freedom are actually a class that exists in the books. This wasn't meant to be a concept. They're in Unearthed Arcana.

That the paladin is mixed class of Paladin and cleric, with let's say healing domain and chaos domain.
With the chaos domain being some thing the paladin got " stuck " with. Like the godess though they were simply too up tight and though to enter jeckt some " fun " i to their live.
*coughs*
Sune is the only chaotic good deity to EVER allow Paladins. Even in the 5th edition of D&D, that is the case.Aidan Airna,Jun 20 2016 wrote:Sune is the only chaotic Deity, I can think of that allowes Paladins. atm
Sune had her Paladins since at least 3.0/3.5. Would not be surprised if she'd them back in 2.0.

She did. And that's my point. Sune is the ONLY chaotic goddess to ever allow Paladins. Even Mystra, a goddess one normally does NOT associate with Paladins, is neutral good; and her worshipers are all Lawful.Aidan Airna,Jun 20 2016 wrote: No

Don't let other people (namely some authors who wrote some D&D's stuff, I don't care whichever edition it was thought for) tell you how to use logic. Whoever thought about allowing paladins to Sune's church was severely injured in her mental powers. And I do know the difference between the scripted "Sune" and "Sharess", it's a matter of logic. Again, you should use the one you have and not the misuse others have played out.rapsam2003,Jun 20 2016 wrote: It's actually not, if people understand how Sune's tenets work.

Someone finally said it.rapsam2003,Jun 20 2016 wrote:It's actually not, if people understand how Sune's tenets work. This Reddit thread has some good insight into that: https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/2 ... aladin_of/. The major problem is, people confuse Sune with Sharess. Compare the dogma of Sune with the that of Sharess. People try RP a cleric/paladin of Sune as some hedonistic, overly-passionate (to the point of ridiculous) person who sleeps with just about anything and encourages such behavior. Sune is not about sex over romance/love, rather the opposite. Sune epitomizes the concepts of Pragma love and Philautia love (see this article for the basics: the-ancient-greeks-6-words-for-love-and-why-knowing-them-can-change-your-life ).Godolia il Magus,Jun 20 2016 wrote:It's impossible roleplay, not bad roleplay.
