Each Hardhead works towards reaching universal 'harmony', and every member of the Harmonium follows strictly the orders given by their superiors. Whether a Hardhead likes those orders or not, his only reply is sharp; 'Sir, yes sir'.
However, in practise, the Hardhead players get the chance to 'decide' themselves the best approach towards reaching and maintaining harmony. Which in turn prevents me taking over the whole of Cage in a tenday. <_<
I'd like to point out that a lot of people that could potentially fall under the "evil" umbrella do not likely associate themselves as such. Most people see their actions as justifiable considering there situation.
I don't want this to be confused with the kind of unquestionable evils that Cere pointed out about devils, demons and the cults the follow them. Many of us "mortals" can act in "evil" ways that can be rationally explained and often with an acceptable consensus.
I also ascribe to the "Alignments are only a guideline". Real people don't always fit into nice neat categories about the quality of person they are, despite scientific efforts to do so. At best, it can be a road map in which to gauge tendency and actions over a period of time. And even then, people do change...
So if you play an evil character, I say this...
There is a lot of interpretation as to what is defined as evil. Just don't use it as an excuse to PvP people with no cause. Remember that in many stories, its the antagonist that motivates a plot...an evil alignment just means you're often the "Doer" instead of the "Reacter"

Or tying a rope around them and making them lead the way down a trap-filled corridor?
