Hello Sigil,
I've not been around for some time due to real life goings on. A variety of issues and boons have taken place in my life in a very short time from moving homes, going on a much needed two week vacation, dealing with a mountain of issues from family to career problems. Oh and there is that whole graduating with honors thing from my university and also being accepted into an awesome graduate program.
That's not good news? Well of course it is! But I have something that trumps that. After almost a year of stressful waiting, doubt, and getting denied the first attempt through, I had a HUGE thing happen to me just a few weeks ago. I am receiving a commission as a Lieutenant in the Air Force!
That's right. Sergeant DarkArc is transitioning to Lieutenant DarkArc! I am so excited about this that I thought I'd share it with everyone before I disappear again for a little while. I can't express how much of an honor that I was selected (it's a very competitive process). I am not sure when I'll be going to training but I already know what my job is.
Anyway, that's where I've been for the past few months. Hope everything is going well here and I might be around again in the near future before I ship off to officer's training somewhere around the fall or early 2017!
