Please specify which powers were returning this error.

The error in particular is, "You cannot manifest a power whose power point cost exceeds your manifester level.". Leveling has fixed some of them, but they didn't work at the levels they were first learned.

Currently, at level 8, the following spells give that error message for me: Psionic Blast, Energy Burst, Swarm of Crystals, and Energy Ball.

The following spells function now, but did not function previously when they should have, factoring in Augment and all Metapsionics feats being all turned off: Telepathic Assualt, Psionic Charm Person and Mind Thrust.

I have yet to have any issues with spells that do not target enemies. Buffs and "heals" work fine.

Psionic Lash never has any errors.

Edit ---

Level 9 now. Swarm of Crystals now functions so long as Augment isn't turned on. But the abilities acquired this level, Hail of Crystals and Psionic Dominate Person, give the same error message as the rest whether Augment is on or off.

Also. I'm genuinely having a lot of fun testing all this. I love Hustle's SFX.

Figured it out.

Twin Power was on, even without the feat on my sheet. And only upon taking it at level 9 was I able to deactivate it. When I was at level 1, with only Psionically Gifted and Spellcasting Prodigy, I was unable to cast the two abilities that came with my discipline because they were being treated as if I was trying to cast them with Twin Power active.

Might have occurred when I rebuilt her with the same name. My first psion build had Psionically Gifted and Twin Power, but I replaced Twin Power with Spellcasting Prodigy on a second take when I learned that it works with psion.

FiveWhats went to bed, but I'm pretty sure that if he takes that feat and then deactivates it, everything will work fine for him as well.

Is this an effective caster class? as such, does it work with any other PRCs? (eldrich knight for a melee based, pale master, demonologist, mystic theurge ?))

Its a caster class yes, but these PrCs dont grant psionic progression.

Do any PRC"s grant it? other than illithid? Also, is there any bonus after 20 lvls? seems like there is no point in taking more than 20 lvls of it from the description.

I've noticed your Psionic Power Pool scales as such:

(Intelligence Modifier + 1) * Psion Level + 4 if Psionically Gifted

There's a secret +1 that's not mentioned in the description.

The description only states the calculation for PP *bonus* not the base PP progress. Base PP progress goes according to the source books.

As for progression, no other class contributes to power progression or manifester level save for Mentalist.

More general psionic PrCs (like Thrallherd, Metamind, and Incarnate) will be forthcoming after the initial bugs are smoothed out for these first two classes.

As for 20+ levels of Psion...Epic Powers , power penetration, along with psionic lash continuing into the epic levels should provide some incentive.
