Heh heh. Well Cere, if you want to make something better...By all means! I would love to have the little gems in that robe be tintable too, since they still show up red on any elven female models.

I actually have this buried in a hak on a server I did some HAK-building for. I'll have to track it down when we get closer to the clothing update. Don't think the gems tint, but I could make them do so with a few minutes in Photoshop...

If I understand this right, the purpose this is to make it so people can wear the red wizard robes because of various proporties with out people mistaking them for red wizards.
That being said lore wise if you claim to be a red wizard and your not wearing the RED robes your most likely going to be laughed at, called an idiot, a wanna be or any such similar names for impersonateing someone obviously better then yourself....or worse! They could just distintigrate you, turn you to stone or some other form of grusomess with a clearing of their left nostril.
Naturally there is alot of lee-way for traveling red wizard(which most pcs are) who are independant in nature, but in these cases they tend not to tell people they are red wizards anyway for privacy purposes.
Just throwing some info out there, if you complete the acadamy to earn the colors you best wear the colors at the very least in the presence of other red wizards (Most likely in a private audiance).
OOCly wise and icly as far as my reds concerned? He openly admits he is of thayan make and supports his home nation and if you claim to be from the mother land but your not wearing the colors? Prepair to be laughed at, shrunk, enlarged, turned to stone, drained with negative energy, sent screaming in fear or have any number of remorseless diseases sprinked upon you:)

I'd argue that not quite, when it comes to stock NWN2 robes, the 'red wizard robe' is one of the best looking clothing item on the game which is unfortunately limited to one colour. The colour that would best fit to a Hardhead Arcanist, and not all arcanists do belong to the Harmonium, or like the colour red.

I remember doing a search on this one time and I believe to be able to change the color you have to change the texture first. That is why some items can be changed to white white and some cant. Thier default color is determined by texture.
Please don't ask me how to do that.. I didn't get that far LOL
