That's why I plan on enjoying and stuffing myself with every last bit of food they have here (gluttony is so gewd), and work out thrice as hard as I normally do at the gym when I come back. >_>

Over here they say that speaking French is kind of like wiping your behind with silk.

Wiping your behind with silk would be as luxurious as it gets. Just image squares of the finest silk being flushed down the toilet. You cannot beat that even with a bathroom made out of solid gold.

And people over here who study French say the sentance with great pride. After all the French used to be the language of the European nobility. The most influential language in the world for centuries. Thus even today the French language has it's prestige.

Anyhow, I'd say it is not without a barb.
After all, the French used to wipe their mouths with silken handerkchieves. :P



Now give me an avarage German of my age and have her flirt with me in German. My knees would end up quite wobbly.


Oh, and I did once try to learn the Scottish accent. I ended up sounding like Irish to the natives.

Eh, most supermodels are too skinny and anorexic.

no doubt I don't want plastic I like curves and a REAL woman.

I find it comical woman diet and loose weight then have to put plastic in to make up for loosing curves.

My better half is often complaining about weight, bah..

That's because our culture has given us impossible standards to which us girls must compare ourselves to. Skinny women tend not to be busty, hence the plastic. Of course the big gals have the breasts, but they have the "stigma" of being overweight, hence the need for dieting.


Statistically, the supermodel-girl look that many guys lust after so rare that its its actually "freakish" to be born with "perfect" measurements.

Must of us girls don't think its "funny".

And frankly that condescension towards our fussiness over our actually ~hurts~, not helps.

I know you didn't mean harm by it, but that attitude is part of the problem, I'm afraid. I'd ask that if you are sincerely think girls shouldn't put so much attention to our looks, them maybe it would do well to remind us that the poster-girl on your screen-saver/calender/poster is actually the freak and the girl in front of you is perfect the way she is. Better still, how about not valuing us for our looks in the first place.

And on the otherside of this matter we got the people who are obese and think their bodies are healthy and normal just as they are.

However, muscles weigth more than the fat. When people start doing physical excersises on regular basis they tend gain more muscle mass. Thus their weight might actually go up instead of going down due to the effort seen in the process of 'loosing' weight.

And it is ridiculous when girls start to cry and have fits when they are buying new clothes and realise that they cannot fit a single cloth item of size "Any Size" on them. I wish they'd bother trying another piece of cloth of the same size to find out if the first one was just smaller than expected. But no, off they go with the "I am fat drama".

But on the otherside they tend to be adorable at times so castration is not yet to be considered.

As much as i would love to agree with you, It goes both way for women and men. You are attracted to your mate based firstly on how they look. You dont see someone and say "Wow, they look like they have a wonderful personality and are a sparkeling conversationalist."

When there is a true connection in a relationship things like weight seem to melt away and you no longer see anything but the person that you know. I have been married for 10 years. I met my wife when we were teen agers and were friends for a very very long time before we became involved. She is also obssesed about her weight as most women are. Women are going to have to face a fact that they wont like. As they get older they put on more pounds. The thing is, even though i know that she has put on a little more weight, I dont really see it nor do i care. I see the same beautiful soul that i married, and am just happy that i have that powerful of a connection with another person. She has become timeless to me. I see the world decay around her but her beauty does not change or fade at all.

I agree with POV. Baaahhh. Be happy with who you are as your time here is so short there are many more things to worry about.

My view is not meant to be hurtful I see the adds and say that is hurtful. I want my daughter to be concerned with grades not grams. Need ads with REAL woman in them.

I agree they are freaks, seeing ribs is kinda icky.

(only owned two posters my whole life 1. an alcoholic dog 2 south park. Back ground on computer is skull at work, and at home something I created in bryce or some graphic program. Randomly changing to my kids and wife. Calender my better half uses and it has no people on it).

Neither side, be they men or women, can complain about the other side regarding stuff like this. Both sides work to look and visually please the other as best as they can, or at least as much as they think is enough to help attract the other. Usually, that's what gives the initial "push" for two people to feel attracted to the other enough to strike up conversation, then comes the part about finding out the other's personality... etc... and, most of the time, that's what makes a relationship stick.

Being visually attractive is not the only thing that matters in others, really. And, to be honest, both sides act in a condenscending manner to the other's looks and fussiness about their looks, and both sides value looks.

Also, my screensaver is an animated one from Neocron 2, my desktop background is a scene of a massive zombie x humans war and I never had any posters. >_>
