Succubus Wings

Okay, I'm a little confused here (what else is new, eh?). So I build a tanar'ri. I get the tint fix, relog everything is cool. After two levels I take Succubus. Poof! Wings, nice. About an hour later I crash and then log back on... no wings. Transition, no wings. So I look on the Wiki (for succubus) and notice this;

Note 1: After creating your character, go immediately to the Styx Oarsman and request a tint fix. This will prevent a perma loose of your wings later.

Note 2: If your wings or tail disappear, they can be brought back either by using the Change Self ability, or by going through a transition..

Note 3: There is a known wing problem if you rebuild your character. In order to avoid problems you have to get your tail at level 1 then apply the tint fix from the Styx Oarsman. If you get your wings before you do that, your wings will be pale. Do the following: Get Tail -> Ask for Tint Fix -> Succubus 1: Wings.

So I scratch my head a bit... am I to get my tint/wing fix as soon as I become a Succubus? How do I do that in undersigil or do I wait for a reset to allow me back to the ooc to do another tint fix and go without them until that happens?

These weird wing / tail bugs are the main reason I stopped playing. Waiting until they get fixed so I can play my tiefie with a tail again.

My persistent problems with this were fixed, I think two days ago. I am not sure if there was an update, but it's all good now and my wings don't keep disappearing anymore. :)

No something is borked. iv made several test tieflings trying get a tail to stick with the instructions , it just disappears on logout.

No, you just login with your new character, ask for a tail and then for a tint fix. Everything afterwards does not matter. You can go to untersigil, get your succubis wings and all will be fine. No second tint fix needed.

Even if you follow this instructions you will loose wings or tails on crash or logout. With change self, polymorph or transistion you should get your wings back, however.

This is a temporary fix. Trust that we ARE working on a permanent solution that doesn't require jumping through hoops.

Also, you can try equipping and unequipping gloves. No idea why, but sometimes this works.

Does the transition/gloves fix apply to erinyes and aasimon also?

Pretty sure the Aasimon wings shouldn't have this problem since they're granted by race, whereas the erinyes/brachina/succubus wings are all given by feat. Although let's wait and see what happens this update, as I'm trying a couple more quick fixes while waiting for the fix to the advanced scripting system.

hm... whelp, for the record... this is happening to my aasimon/deva too.
