Is there an option for time to run randomly, not only in rate or progression, but possibly even in reverse? No? Ok

I've been on servers with compressed time (i.e. 1 RL hour = 6+ hours in game time), and I can tell you it gets kind of silly. Your group starts talking at midnight, chats for two hours, suddenly it's noon. You have to ignore the day to night cycle to get coherency. It's less marked on Sigil because the peak/anti-peak cycle is not as big a difference, and most of the planes don't have a day/night cycle, but characters would still be commenting on the strobe lighting.

But for other purposes, yeah, time is meaningless. I regularly skip 8 hours here, a full day there, however it's best suited for RP. Although for events that are supposed to happen over several days, I tend to take 1 day = 1 day regardless. Or for example, I say Melissa's been in Sigil for 6 months because I have chat logs dating back 6 months. In that regard, it's helpful that the server timescale is the same. It keeps me from having to refer to time vaguely.
