As the person who wrote the server rules, absence of specific statement in the rules does not mean a DM team cannot take actions, that's also the particular reason for category 3. Problems are fluid in PWs and there's necessity for the DM team to be capable to remain fluid in turn, to respond to the problems at hand.

Also technically the rules section "Breaking Rules" part defines that you first get a warning, and then if problems continue, actions will be taken. So pedantically speaking, even by rules, the first warning is the last warning if need be. :P

If you think there's unfair ruling, you can always try to contact another DM/admin to try to clarify your case and see if that helps out.

But as I've also said even in the past: SCoD has never been big on PvP, better not to expect PvP hospitable environment in here either, and try to keep it sparse rather than seek it out actively. PvP is great narrative tool, but if you want to really fight often, keep it to the arena. :P

Sometimes Roleplay leads to PvP.

The last time I found 2 epics, and it looks like Neethanial reported me while not even being involved in to that... I play an Illithid who is looking for slaves. Udersigil is ideal place, because I cant be looking for them at Bazaar, where usually epics are. And it is pretty illogical, because enslaving low level target is more simple.

But PvP is consent only, person is free to leave. Always, even without RP out. Or just ingore you. There is no need to 'accept' PvP first and later throw a report.

Plenty of persons just roleplayed out very fine and we had alot of fun without PvP. But sometimes PvP happens. And if you accept to PvP, throwing reports after the defeat is quite illogical especially if no rules are being violated.

I remember what heppened last time to me however: I just left the Earth Plane, and had loading screen up. And I started hearing very strange sounds like casts and SR successes... And guess what happens after? Loading screen is over and I see a random casul trying killing me. Of course he cant do anything, because he is that bad, but still he tries. Do I report him - no, of course I do not. I do not even kill him. And DM who is nearby just ignores it. But if I do the same thing it probably will lead to reports and warnings. Not very fair, dont you think so? The thing here goes far beyond the consent. Its just a very dirty move.

Generally trying to look for conflict in areas where your opposition has no chance is in pretty bad taste. And while you make a point about PvP being consent only, I can't help but to feel like it's a problem of presentation of that choice more than anything. Would they make the choice if they knew that they had no chance? Of course they wouldn't, that's not a choice any reasonable person would make... but that's a choice easily made with a PvP build in constant conflict, there's a sense of entitlement and unwillingness to back away, because why would you? Likelyhood is that you'll win.

Also calling people casuals or making public statement saying "this isn't flaming", while saying that others are "in the wrong anyway", name dropping and everything even. And before you even start with the "casual isn't derogative", you are using it knowing it irritates people, you already have past examples of it from another thread. If you really want to sort this out, I suggest doing it in private and trying to be more respectful of people, and stop looking for trouble.

If you find a lot of people being tired of only one thing you do, it's probably high time to think in what way you could do it better. Not try to prove that they are wrong and you are right. :P The gist is trying to have fun, it's clear some people aren't having it, so they're complaining.

Gods... It looks like he just created separate topic after not being involved... Puck, if Kol is your PC than this one is just misunderstanding.

Long and short of it is, if you play your character as a dick, then other players are not going to have fun. Yes, it is fun RP'ing as the Illithid who wants slaves, but it's also kind of dickish to try and enslave other Planeswalkers in Undersigil.

Well, you always have an RP out. If other PC is not epic level, it does not mean that I cant roleplay with him, right?

Puck - Nooo and yes, later that guy logged on his epic as you remember and metagamed a bit but I am very fine with that. I had fun :) But he is definitely not Neethanial, because he gave PvP consent by his epic himself, and I played with his level 3 PC after that and helped him leveling a bit.
