The setting itself does not really support good or evil. It mainly supports the cynical.
However, playing a good character is perfectly possible since there is so much evil out there. There is always something to strive against if you look.
If anyone remembers Purity Sunshine, you will remember how hopelessly optimistic and good she was. Rose tinted glasses barely describe how innocent she was.
