Welcome Deekinslute!

It is with great pleasure that we welcome DM DeekinsLute to the Sigil City of Doors team. (Please note that he is in no way related to DM DeeSkinFlute, whom we sacked after that unfortunate incident with the unicorn.)
As a bit of biographical information, DeekinsLute was crafted from the wood of the legendary Dire Lute Mangrove Tree located on the fourth layer of Pandemonium by the famed gnomish luthier Squeezebox Treenut shortly before his death at the hands of a sentient G-string. (The G-string in question having apparently not belonged to Mrs. Treenut.) DeekinsLute was later auctioned off as part of the Treenut Estate sale to one Skeezax the Unwashed, who was later briefly renowned for his role in what historians call "The Dragoncolon Affair".
DeekinsLute remained lost for a period of almost 700 years before showing up in a seedy Calishite bathhouse, playing itself for coppers for the dust-coated merchant caravaneers. To this day, DeekinsLute remains evasive about his time there, saying only, "It was humid."
It was there that Pasha Ulqhart discovered the sentient Lute and offered it a more lucrative position as a harem girl. Tragedy struck again, however, as, while in Ulqhart's "Pocket Plane" one day, DeekinsLute accidentally wandered too close to the Pasha's "Dimension Door".
The resulting Astral rift demolished the obese Pasha, but deposited DeekinsLute directly at the heart of the Cage, much to our delight.
Having known DeekinsLute for almost four years, and having had the pleasure of being a player in many of his DMed events, I can say unequivocally that we are fortunate to have his creativity, wit, and panache for memorable characters here in SCoD. Ulqhart's misfortune is our gain.
