A hard drive has died, which means it won't be coming up again straight away.

I have a backup of the vault (about a day old) so no worries about that, I might have lost the database though. Also will need to set up a lot of the configuration again which might take time, so likely to be down a day or more.

Having some luck with hard disk recovery tools, which will make my task a whole lot easier, and might not lose everything... the db seems to be on affected part of hd though, so we'll see...

Will likely have the server back up again in a while, the whole database was lost, so xp pools will have been emptied. All existing chars will get a nice boost into it on first logon though, which means a bonus for all those who lost nothing.

To get first DM reward after login you will need to login a second time though.

Server is up again, please send me a PM with anything out of the ordinary you feel might be new after the crash occurred.

Also, a correction, the server vault backup was about 36 hours old, so apologies to those who have lost items and xp in this manner. Hopefully the pool boost given will help out.
